Therapy for:
ALL GENERATIONS!
"Family, where life begins and love never ends."
Welcome to Therapy at Tiffany’s, I’m Tiffany Yaker, LMHC. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor I dedicate my practice to families who are looking for a very warm and caring environment to gain a better understanding of what’s not working and to learn ways to make improvements. Therapy is a big commitment and I want you to have plenty of information about my services to help you make the right decision for your family. My practice is open to all age groups.

My Vision: Healing & Hope for the Whole Family
My goal is to help clients increase self-awareness and facilitate behavior change in coping with issues that impede personal growth. I am an active participant with my clients, and I focus on the whole person.
I am trained in the most current and relevant modalities of treatment and techniques for helping children and adults overcome their fears and challenges.
I have chosen to use relational therapy as my main approach to family therapy. It focuses on the multiple individuals that make up a family unit. Family therapists value observing the patterns and dynamics of the family unit. This information helps to interpret how to best help the individuals that make up the family.
Individual therapy tends to have a narrow focus on the client in the office and the issues they are bringing to session, a relational therapist realizes that an individual is a single member of a much more complex family system.
As a relational therapist, I realize that an individual’s systems greatly impact their successes and struggles.
Family therapy most often includes all the members of the family, even those that are less than willing or able to participate (such as reluctant teens). Having all the players present helps the therapist understand the full scope of the patterns at play.
Once we’re all together, we will work as a team to improve communication, social skills, conflict resolution and positive reinforcement. I work to enhance trust in relationships and to offer a safe space to share openly in response to family turmoil.
Families have been trusting and counting on my services for two decades to strengthen their family units and to bring harmony into their homes. I welcome new families and happily will provide an over the phone consult, prior to planning our first session, to ensure the fit is right without paying a session fee.
